• Does it smell fresh and clean? – If you have a dog, or smoke, it probably doesn’t. Clean the carpets, open the windows, bath the dog.
• A for sale board always helps

When you have a viewing, try to
• Be accommodating as to time and day.
• Be welcoming to viewers, but let them take their own time looking round.
• Put any valuables securely away.
• Keep the house warm, welcoming and well-lit.
• Have ready any utility bills or guarantees in case viewers want to see them.
• Try to leave a parking space outside.
